mycheckfree.com threat

I read a message that mycheckfree.com had, what they called a “power outage” on 6/14. On the evening of 6/16 I logged on the pay some bills, and whithin two minutes I had accumulated 337 spyware/adware infections, which took two hours to clean out. Mycheckfree.com was either compromised during that outage, or they are working with a company that broadcasts malware.
