Nero – Error MSG: Shell Manager Corrupt or Missing – HELP!

After attempting to install updates to Nero 7.0, Nero would not work. I tried deleting the full instalation, and reinstalling over the top of the existing program. Each time I got an error message; Shell Manager corrupt or missing. Next I tried to restore the system from two different points – not using safe mood. Neither attempt corrected the problem. I received the same error message. How can I delete Nero entirely to start over?
