Netware 4.11 long username

A Netware 4.11 NDS server hang. Somebody did a vrepair on a volume,as result: all directory and files were truncated to 8 characters.
The server is up now and all home directory are recreated manually.Here’s the problem:
A user that has a username with more than 8 characters can login and access his home directory but the home drive (map root …%home_directory) shows only 8 characters. The same problem happens on a newly created username even if all longfilename related modules are loaded.
Do someone has an idea ?
