Network printer fix?

this one user for some reason keeps having printer issues. It stop working so I deleted it and re connected to the printer installed the drivers it shows, however it will not let me “auto configure” also it shows the status as ready, but when I send a test page it just sits, it doesn’t send to the printer, I can ping this printer with no problem,
