I am maintaining a network with 4 computers using windows98 2nd ed.The network is as follows, AP1(Server) then stations,AP2,3and 4. The company is using 4 dotmatrix printers.Ap1,AP2 is situated next to each other, using printer, Seikosha SP2000Plus.AP1 share this printer with AP2.The driver loaded on AP2 is (IBM graphics), I was told by the program administrator not to use the original driver but to use Epson FX80 driver on the server.I want to know how I can set up this printer for jobcard printing and to set the cut off line of the jobcard that it is level with the printer cutoff line.Also when you want to print from AP1(Server), the printer waste 3job cards.AP2 prints fine. Is this a printer problem?,a driver problem?,a DOS problem?-(I was told by program Admin:) When I change the printer settings AP2 does not print corectly. I also want to link AP1 to the printer (Seikosha SP 2000) used on terminal AP4 in the store so it can print jobcards here. Should the program be changed? I do not want to do this! My access rights are limited.
