No experience no work heeelp!

How can a fresh IT school graduate obtain a job in the IT field with out any related work experience?.Most,well all IT hiring managers expect you to have some kind of work back ground with the letters IT in it.
We cannot gain the experience if we cant land our dream job and yes I’ve herd of volunteering but that means i would have to convince them to take the risk.right?
