No longer install on Win 2K Server

I have a Win 2K server that I cannot install CAD software on. When I try, a window just pops up that says the program has encountered a fatal error. In the event log it just says: AutoCAD 2005 installation operation failed. The event properties window says the source is MsiInstaller. Error# 11708. What is happening? Is this repairable?
