“Unfortunately, upper management does not always view IT as a potential “money-maker” for their organizations,” said Peter Tsai, IT content manager at Spiceworks. “Most of the time, IT is seen as a need-to-have in order to keep the engines running, so IT budgets aren’t always a top priority. We’re seeing that same trend this year.”
