no MSExchange service in default Win98Se

by ironchef . Updated 25 years, 10 months ago

To set up a win95/98/Win2k client’s Outlook 2000 on my NT 4.0 SBS server/exchange server, I usually go to the control panel, open the mail services, and add the Microsoft Exchange server. Or I open outlook 2000 and go to tools | services and add the Microsoft Exchange Server.

Unfortunately, my boss’ new Toshiba laptop with Win98Se won’t be assimilated–er, won’t comply with the above. It only has an internet connection wizard which allows a POP3 connection. As noted above, I need Exchange, not POP3.

HELP!
