No Net connection via wireless router

I recently purchased a Linksys 802.11b Wireless router to share out my cable Internet connection. I can get a net connection on both my main pc and my laptop by using an ethernet cable, and I get my laptop picks up the wireless router and says “Connected to: Wireless, Signal Strengh: Excellent”. However, I get no net connection. Any ideas?
