Novell VRepair

How do you stop a vrepair in Novell v4.12? We have a server with Raid 5 (consist of 3 HDD)for system, 1 HDD for Program and another HDD for Data. The problem we had was, the HDD for Data did not mount when it is boot up by UPS PowerChute Plus. We manually mount it and the Vrepair starts. This repair damaged our data files (thousand of drawing files) which is irrecoverable. What actually went wrong? The server has a memory of 128MB. FYI, we had also run the anti-virus and utilities.
