My question concerns Office 97 apps and NT4.0. Sporadically, a user will call to say their Word App or Excel App is opening
PAINFULLY slow. It really is painfully slow, normally when this call comes in, the user has had the app opening for 5 minutes.
We have tried putting the Service pack on NT, deleteing the user’s profiles, and reloading Office, only to have this happen again to the same user after about two or three weeks. We called Microsoft, they have not heard of this problem before and suggested running a parellel system, which we already do, (every machine in the office building). So weare out of
