NT4 and Sun DLT4000 drive

I am trying to use a Sun DLT4000 tape drive (SCSI) with NT server. It picks it up on detect as a SUN device, but I have been unable to find drivers that it likes. I have tried both the Quantum and Digital 4000 drivers (standard on NT), but NT still refuses to start the device. I have installed SP4. Are there any generic drivers out there for NT?? I have been unable to find any.

Any ideas?
