NT4 constantly accessing A: Drive

I recently re-installed NT4 w/SP3 on my Dell GXa Desktop. Since re-installing whenever I attempt to install new software, or update existing software NT will attempt to access the Floppy Drive and then give an error (unable to find **program’s exe file**) hit abort,retry, or ignore. If I stick a random floppy in the drive and hit retry it will continue to install or update the software with no problems. I am assuming it’s because I installed NT4 using the three floppy disk’s it creates during install. Is there a way to fix this problem so NT will stop attempting to access the floppy drive during an install or update?
