NTFS on Large Capacity HDD

I’m putting another PC together that will have an 80GB Maxtor HDD, and will be installing Win2K Pro as my OS. Is there any reason that I should partition the HDD instead of using the full capacity as drive C (assuming that it can be done)? I’ll be doing some non-linear video editing and will be ending up with rather large files. If not, will the W2K install CD provide everything I need to do this?
