Office 2007 Freezes When Installing

PC is freezing and the install is not responding. I have let it set for over 2 hrs and there is no progress on the install. I am running a HP 6930p Laptop with windows XP service pack 2. Office XP and Outlook 2003 are installed.

Any help would be appericated
