Opening a link from Netscape into IE

I have a big question here. I’m using a program that runs IE to display it’s HTML content. We have a problem in that we want the links when clicked on to open in the users default browser, i.e. Netscape. Is this possible using any kind of script, i.e. VBScript, Javascript?
