OS Standardization

I am trying to standardize everyone in the company to Windows 95, Version C. Is there a safe way to upgrade previous versions of Windows (A, B etc…) to version C? I hate to just put the Win95 CD in and run the setup over the top of the existing OS, I have had some experiences with that in the past.
