Hello,
After a recent update for Mavericks, my Mac Mini does something strange.
On power up, it displays the apple logo and a progress bar. After 10 min or so, the progress bar fills all the way up and the computer shuts down. When i power it up again … same thing.
Things i’ve tried:
– Safe mode (pressing Shift at the sound): Does not work
– Hardware testing (pressing D at the sound): No problems found
– Recovery mode (ressing Cmd R at the sound):
Disk utilities – i verrified the HDD and it found no problem, then i did a repair … that said that everything is ok.
And here i found something odd
Reinstall OSX – at the step where i was supposed to select the partition for reinstalling OSX … the window was empty.
Can you please help me in fixing the problem without loosing ALL my data (if possible), but most important … help me understand whats happening.
