Outlook 2003 messages marked read but wern’t

Hello guys,

I got a real stumper here that relates to one of our users, the CEO in fact. What is going on is everyday when they check their email in Outlook 2003 the first few messages always appear as read. Meaning they are un-bolded. The security of the account should not be compromised and they have no delegates setup nor any other device checking email like a phone. Also they don’t use OWA so that can’t be it either.

So any ideas as to why this is happening or any way to make it stop would make me look great in front of the boss. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
