Outlook 2007

I’m running Outlook 2007 on Win XP. I use the diary and sync with my iPhone for business. How far back does Outlook 2007 Diary keep entries before it automatically deletes them?

Is there any option to ajust the time period?

I need to refer back at least a year for tax reasons (meetings, mileage, etc..)
