Outlook 2010 Pro missing Search

I’ve been through ALL the help functions trying to find a way to add the Search Folders/Messages (for specific data) and can’t find any way to add the simple command to my default menus. They reference something called “Quick Search” but don’t even tell you how to add it to a menu OR how to invoke it.
Personnaly, I’d like to find the “I’m Responsible for Windows 7” person and give them a GOOD thrashing!!! Why’d they have to dump XP Pro????? (And Office 2003…I miss my substitution keystrokes…a Smiley icon repllaces the simple 🙂 with those keystrokes.)
Sadly, can anyone help?
