Outlook Email Transparent Text

On my wife’s computer, some of her emails display the text as a transparent yellow that is barely readable. It’s weird because she can copy the contents into word and it shows up. All other email is normal. They are not from the same source either. Her computer is a Dell 1730 laptop running XP Pro with Outlook 2006. Anybody seen this before?
