OUTLOOK problems (viewing pics)

by cemetery mike . Updated 21 years, 8 months ago

I’ve recently made the switch to Outlook from Outlook Express to speed-up performance; However, I am have difficulty configuring it where it will allow me to see the pictures I am attaching to messages from my hard drive (after being sent, and opening the message from the SENT MESSAGE file) without having to individually click on each attachment and open up a photo-viewing software

After mailing, the picture is still staying in the attachment format. In Express, all photos files (jpgs and bmps anyway, not sure about tiffs) were made part of the message, and I could view the pic(s) by simply clicking on the message in the SENT MESSAGE folder. The pics would then be viewable below the message, one after the other.

Now, I have the HTML format selected under MAIL FORMAT (send messages in this format) and also have ENCODE TEXT USING QUOTABLE PRINTABLE, along with SEND PICTURES FROM THE INTERNET USING PICTURES. But still nothing. As it stands now, it is only providing an icon indicating each photo, which then has to be clicked on and opened individually.

Any help on how to get rid of this apparent security function? I can’t seem to get things the way I used to have them in Express in this regard. I am out of ideas on this. Thanks all.
