Outlook sends multiple emails to a recipient when an image is attached.

Whenever I send an email with an attachment from Outlook 2003 I find it keeps resending the mail many times until I break the comms connection and delete the mail in the Outbox folder. If I don’t delete it and reconnect it starts sending again.

Any ideas anyone?
