Outlook Subfolders

I am having difficulty deleting subfolders that I created. I’ve tried deleting both empty and full subfolders with no sucess. This is a randomly occurring issue as sometimes when I go to delete a subfolder, the requested action occurs with no problems. I have checked the properties to verify that I am the folder owner. I am using Outlook 2007.

Has anyone experienced this situation?
