Pagemaker 6.5 and Windows 2000… a safe

by dan . Updated 25 years, 9 months ago

We recently purchased new desktops that included Windows 2000. The users are primarily writers and desktop designers, and are complaining about printing issues.

Specifically, when printing pagemaker files, some fonts are rendered in ‘courier’ instead of the normal font. The fonts are installed on the machine properly, and render properly on the screen. This happens with both postscript and PCL rendered documents.

Computer: Dell Dimension XPS B733r
OS: Windows 2000
S/W: Pagemaker 6.5
Printer(s): HP 4000TN, Xerox N40
