Palm Not Syncing

I have a Palm m515 that just stopped syncing with the computer recently. It is running Windows XP Pro SP2. I have ran through the troubleshooting steps on the Palm web site with no success. I updated the software program as instructed, still no success. I even installed the software program on another computer (Windows XP Pro SP1) and could not get the palm to sync with that computer. IS is possible the cradle has gone bad? Or, is there something that I’ve missed.
