Password Protect USB Drive

by tlittle88 . Updated 12 years, 11 months ago

I am looking for a way to password protect a USB drive.
It needs to be simple.
-Insert drive.
-Ask for password
-Opens files

I have tried TrueCrypt but it requires Administrator rights on the machine which I don’t always have.

I travel allot so I need to have it portable because I don’t always use the same computer so software that installs onto one machine isn’t going to help.

I have been looking for a while and can’t find anything that just simple password protects the drive.

FYI I have a 16GB SanDisk Cruzer and a Kingston 16GB Data Traveller

Any ideas?
