password protecting Windows folders in Vista Home Premium

I have come to the understanding that there exists a way to password protect Microsoft Home and Student 2007 folders with Vista Home Premium OS . I have been unable to find a solution and am hoping that there is a way to do this. Is there anyone who can point me in the direction?
