Password Synchronization

We use Microsoft Networking Client for our NT servers, and Novell Intranetworking client for our netware servers. The client versions range from 2.2 to 3.0. We’ve tried various versions to fix our problem. Our problem is that the passwords don’t synchronize when one or the other expires and they immediately go to change the password for that server. Are we missing something? Or is there a way to fix this?
