PC files to Mac

I am about to purchase a new Apple Imac. My question is this, i have many wave files & windows movie player files saved on cd’s. Will I be able to load these on to the Mac, or is there a migration process that I need to follow. In short will I be able to transfer these to the Mac, if so how?
