Just about a week ago my computer began to stutter/glitch at completely random times. These stutters can last from under a minute to over 10 minutes at a time. These stutters happen while on my desktop idle, while using a browser or watching videos, and while playing several games. I’ve checked several forums and there seems to be no direct answer. The type of stutter is the exact same except the duration is either shorter or longer. The stutter is both auditory and visual based.
Below are my current pc specs.
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
Geforce GTX 1660 Super
Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe PCIe M.2 500GB
Seagate 640GB Drive
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB
X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING motherboard
EVGA 430Watt White
So far I’ve eliminated both of my Seagate drives because the problems persisted when I disconnected them. I’ve tried updating both graphics drivers and audio driver and there was no success (done through DDU). I’ve also ran my computer in Safe Mode and I still got the stutter.
Below are the benchmarks on my pc components (done through User Benchmark).
Below is video footage of what the stutter looks like visually and auditorily.
I hope the people on this forum can help me because I have no clue what to do anymore besides buy new parts. Overall it seems like software issue but I’m not entirely sure.
