PCL to PDF

Many of you guys might have come across such utilities which do this job of converting a PCL file to a PDF file. But my problem I guess is a real unique one. I am working on a print stream generation software for an insurance company. Now we need to add one more functionality in the system, it should be able to convert the PCL files into PDF files (pretty easy stuff).. but we want to split the generated PDF files into multiple files (seperated by policy numbers) and all this has to be automated. Can some one suggest me the best approach or a tool which can help me in doing this.
