Peer to peer over DSL with dynamic IP’s?

by will . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

I have a small client with 2 locations. They have DSL service at both locations, using DHCP with US-West/Quest. One location has a Cisco 675 DSL router (external) tied to a hub with 2 nodes.
The other location only has 1 PC with an internal DSL *modem* that only connects upon request.

The client wants to connect one PC from the 1st location to the PC at the second location using their DSL connection. As I stated, both locations are assigned an IP via DHCP from USW/Quest… the location with the Cisco 675 may change once a week or so, the one with the internal card gets one each log in.

What would be the most reliable method to achieve this? Should I and can I use a 3rd party package such as PC-Anywhere? Or is there a better solution?

Thank you,
Will
