PLUG-IN FOR FIREFOX

Please help! I have downloaded player and plug-in for Media Player and Real Player BUT everytime there is a webcast, I just can not view it. It keeps asking to download plug-in even though I have downloaded it 3x.
Which folder should the plug in go???
