Policies, can I use them on an NT workst

Hi,

can I use policies on a NT Workstation without it being part of an NT domain?
These are PCs which we are going to place inour shop, and I want to closethem down to guaranty more stability.

These PCs never log on to a NT or any server.

ANybody knows?
