Assistance is requested with troubleshooting the following:
What: Powerbook G3WS, 1998 with new power adapter per 2001 exchange
When: In the last couple of months
Sometimes the screen lines out, shakes, then blacks out. The computer needsto be restarted and computer seems to be
heating up/wearing out during this process.
According to the local Apple repair crew, nothing is wrong with the monitor or with the basic powering mechanisms of the computer.
However, surely something is amiss, since this problem has repeatedly occurred during limited, normal usage during the last couple of months.
Any suggestions as to what the cause might be, and how to go about fixing it would be most appreciated.
