powerpoint ouput generation by weblogic migration to unix from windows

Hi,
We have an application in webLogic that generates .ppt and other windows compatible outputs. Now that we are deploying the same on Unix environment edition, we want to know will it work? If so, what mechanism it follows?
Any similar projects done so far will be helpful.
