Printer Default

I have a small peer to peer network. Four PC’s are using Windows 2000 and one is using Winodws XP Home. File and printer sharing is installed. My problem is that the shared printer on the XP PC replaces the default printer on the Windows 2000 PC. Is there anyway of correcting this?
