Printer problems using Access 2000

I am having a printing problem. I am using Access 2000 and an HP DeskJet 6122 printer. The printer doesn’t print the gridlines. If I hook up a different printer, the gridlines print. Is this a problem with Access or with HP? Why would HP develop a printer that is not capatible with Access? Doesn’t make sense to me!
