Printing scenario

I have got a Novell server and 4 Windows 98 clients. The clients run a DOS application from the Novell server and one of them have a printer attached to it. I run the application from a batch file that maps lpt1 to the printer server. When I attemptto print from a client running the application, a print job of 0KB appears on the printer queue of the Windows 98 client which has the printer locally, and that’s all. Is there an idea to manipulate this?
