Problem with Sharing in Excel linked access database

Hiya,
I have created an access database with table linked from Excel. There is only one user who has full control of Excel file. There are many users in the office who can open the Read-Only access database to view reports.

The problem i face is, when an user opens the access database anywhere, no other user is able to open it. Even the admin is not able to open the excel file to edit the excel data.

Can you help me please?
