Problem with wintouch.exe – Pop-ups, random shutdowns, etc.

Hello – I’m having a terrible time with a variety of spyware on my computer, and it seems to be concentrated around a program called wintouch. It continually opens pop-ups in Internet Explorer (which I don’t use), it causes random shut-downs of the computer, slows everything down considerably, and seems to be affecting my antivirus and antispyware programs. The various cleanup programs I’ve run can’t remove it. I’ve tried removing the program in control panel, but it simply opens a DOS screen and a warning that “Virtual Device Driver format in the the registry is invalid”. Can anyone help?
