Proxy check box keeps getting checked

My proxy checkbox keeps getting checked. This happens with the LAN and dialup settings. I have to go to options/connections/LAN settings and uncheck it. In dialup I have to go to options/connections/, right click on modem connection and click on settings and uncheck proxy. This become a pain after awhile. IT resets after a new boot.
