q823559 update

have a win98se machine, in checking the update instalation history shows successful many..many times (sinse 2003) have tried uninstalling the update manually installing update. have found the “update information tool properties” showes an “invalid” status for a couple of files (html32.cnv & msconv97.dll) branched from the 823559 update, tried renameing these files and then running the update but the status changes to “not found” anyone have any thoughts also .net frame ver 1.1 similar problem
