RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) Virtual Channel

I have to work on the RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) Virtual Channel. I want add additional feature to rdesktop v1.30: Linux rdesktop client with only down stream sound support from the MS 2003 Server using RDP Virtual Channels.

If it is possible how ow feasible it is and any procedure or documents related to virtual channel
