RDS over Satellite am I wasting my time?

I have a client, a housebuilder, who has sites in areas which sometimes have very poor 4g / 3g network signal.
I have been speaking to a Satellite provider, who has said that they can assist, but with a 750ms lag. I am assuming that there is no way that this would be any good for RDS?
