Realtek HD Audio Manager & Windows 7 Disables Front Jacks

We have a Realtek HD Audio Manager in a Windows 7 environment. Unfortauntely it disables the front microphone and earphone jacks. The rear jacks work fine. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but same effect. HELP, please?
