Reboot instead of logoff?

by dghaus . Updated 21 years, 7 months ago

I’m running a win2k server with win98 clients, I have Norton 2003 installed on all of the clients. My problem is that when a user logs off and a new or even the same user logs on, Norton Auto Protect is no longer enabled. Symantec is aware of the problem but can’t duplicate it so they have no fix for it. Their workaround is to restart the client which I try to get the users to do. It would be much easier if there was a script I could download that makes the machine reboot automatically when they hit the logoff button instead of logging off. Does anyone know of such a script? I’d write one myself but alas, I never learned how.
Thanks
